Purpose of processing personal data

Personal information is used to identify the customer, to place orders for registered users, and to maintain and develop the customer relationship. The data is not used for automated decision making or profiling.

Information content of the register

The register shall contain the following information deemed relevant for the data subject:

Personal identification and contact information, such as name, social security number, address, telephone number, email address, company name, IP address of the internet connection, subscription information and changes, billing information, and other customer relationship and subscription related information.

Regular sources of information

Information is collected from the person himself or herself based on the data given via telephone, internet, e-mail or otherwise. Data is also collected through the Google Analytics analytics tool.

Transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA

Data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

Retention period of personal data

The data collected in the register shall be kept only for as long as is required for which the personal data were collected. Personal data stored in the register shall be deleted when there are no longer lawful grounds for processing them.

Registry security principles

The data is transferred over an SSL secure connection. Electronic data is protected by usernames and passwords, and backups are made of the registry. Only those persons employed by WalkingArt and need the information for their duties shall have access to the information. All paper versions are stored in a locked office.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject shall have the right to verify what information concerning him or her is stored in the register. An inspection or rectification request may be made by submitting the request to the registry liaison officer. The data subject shall have the right to have his or her personal data rectified, transferred or deleted without delay.

Use of cookies

We use cookies on our site. A cookie is a small text file sent to and stored on a user’s computer that enables the webmaster to identify the visitors who frequently visit the site, to make it easier for visitors to log on to the site, and to enable composite information about the visitors.
